It’s that time of year… warm balmy days, barbecues, cold beer , prosecco on the patio ,.. and wasps.

People typically track down a nest and often try to sort it out.
“It’s such a bad idea to DIY “ stresses Gerry, “We have all the professional equipment – long reach poles and protective gloves. Also people don’t realise that a wasp sting leaves a scent that attracts other wasps. And people can react with anaphylactic shock they may not be aware of.”
The other panic reaction is to spray the wasps which causes agitation or to plug up the entrance to the nest
“ Blocking the hole is the worse thing to do they will look for a crevice and are likely to fly into the house.”
