Chorleywood Lunch Club has cooked up a new plan – they are expanding their freshly cooked meals delivery service. The lunch club has been running on Wednesdays at Bullsland Hall for years and meals were only delivered to club members who weren’t well enough to get to the hall. Now the service is open to anybody who would benefit from having a takeaway delivered once a week.
“Many people are capable of cooking a meal for themselves but it takes the pressure off to know there’s a fresh nutritious hot meal delivered to your door mid week” says organiser Linda Clarkson – “It’s just one less day to worry about. Currently a two-course meal costs just £3.50.”
