Five groups from St Clement Dames School flew out to Central America in July. The school expedition to the developing world, run by World Challenge, is designed to teach life skills and expand minds outside the classroom. One of the students, seventeen year old Rosie Dowsing tells the story of her journey to Costa Rica and Nicaragua in the September 2013 issue of Chorleywood Magazine and gives a glimpse of the experience in this video.
ROSIE’S JOURNAL
“Day 3 – I have decided to record everything in detail in my journal. For breakfast it was rice, beans, egg, toast and sausages, with monkeys milk in my coffee. The white water rafting was fun, I saw flamingos, vultures and a sloth!”
