Christ Church children brought home 7 trophies from the Moor Park Junior Runs held in late September in aid of the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre.
“We take long distance running seriously at Christ Church School. We have a lunchtime running club organised by parent volunteers and we are seeing standards improve all the time. It is fantastic being close to the Common which is ideal for getting children used to running longer distances. Running at Christ Church School is going from strength to strength!” explains PE Co-ordinator Alanna Peters.
Buzz Coster, from the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre, presented the trophies in a special assembly and said how happy she was to see the school’s enthusiasm for running and the children achieving so well.
