Two generations from Chorleywood are coming together to get making. Chorleywood WI Chairman Penny Pugh and five creative ladies recently led the first of many hands-on craft sessions for little ones initiated by The Hive.

Activities included needlework, patchwork, knitting and more and the children loved it.

“Four year old Neve managed to stitch around a whole patchwork shape” says Penny, “ she was really keen. I kept threading the needle for her and off she went. Her brother was running around taking photos.”

“ The group had great ideas on things to do going forward and it was fantastic to see the spark the session bought to both the older and younger generation” adds Hive trustee Simone Tyson “This is the first Chatter Craft Group meeting and we are going to get together every Thursday at Hillside initially and will then move on to our own space.”
