ImageWhen a tweet was sent to us by a TV researcher  asking for home bakers in Chorleywood, we posted the request on our website and facebook page and received a few replies which we passed on.

The production company, Voltage TV, who specialise in factual programmes, set up a shoot in the Rose and Crown .  A small group of Chorleywood residents took along a loaf of bread they had made themselves and the home baked bread was compared with commercial loaves made by the Chorleywood bread process. Experts from Peterborough Bakery were on hand to comment.

The three part series about Factories who feed Britain will be shown on BBC 2 later in the year.
