Chorleywood Christmas Festival Fri 1 Dec

Christmas kicks off in the village as usual on the first Friday of December (4.30pm – 8.45pm). The Chorleywood Community Initiatives event by is sponsored by Herts County Council and once again features the popular Rhythm Stage with entertainment from Chorleywood Combined School Choir, Beavers, Amersham Rock Choir, our local theatre schools and bands WhySix, Not White Noise and The Dog Roses.  Chorleywood Magazine Scarecrow Trail winners will be also presented with their prizes.

There will be market and community stalls, toddler rides, festive food and drink including Higgins’ legendary Hog roast and many of the shops will stay open until 9pm. Santa will be in residence at Lords and Zippy the donkey returns with Mary and Joseph and for the first time we have Late Night Window Showing in Lower Road.
