“The Hive’s encouragement and financial and administrative support have been invaluable in getting us where we are today and now a legacy grant from them is enabling us to buy our own equipment and become independent“ says Keith Frost. “Working with other local organisations and groups is important to us and we are especially looking forward to stepping up our collaboration with Chorleywood Bookshop who have acted as our Box Office since day one. We really respect and admire bookshop owners Sheryl and Martin and their team for the incredible job they’ve done in putting, and maintaining, Chorleywood on the cultural map. We already screen films for the Children’s Lit Fest and are looking forward to working closer together in future.”

“ Strengthening our link opens up all sorts of future programming possibilities ‘ agrees Sheryl, “not least because so many great films are based on great books!”

Sept Film Club screening is Youth, Fri 23 Sept, The Memorial Hall
