Chorleywood Film Club is back and is kicking off their autumn programme with the witty British comedy drama What We Did on Our Holiday.
Written and directed by Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin (creators of Outnumbered and Drop The Dead Donkey) the film stars David Tennant, Rosamund Pike, Billy Connolly, Ben Miller, Annette Crosbie and Celia Imrie.
Doug and Abi take their three children to Scotland for a family gathering. In the midst of a difficult divorce, the couple have asked the kids to keep it a secret. But as the inevitable feuds kick in, a completely unexpected turn of events involving the children causes further tensions. And with the hilarious and emotional repercussions that ensue the family are forced to work together or else risk losing what they hold most dear.
