Following the success of Chorleywood’s Happiest Dog Competition
we asked readers to send in photographs of their Top Cat. We soon discovered that cats, being elusive creatures, aren’t the easiest to photograph. Here are the few that braved the camera and earned a place in our Top Cat Gallery
And as everybody know cats choose their owners and are always in charge, so the cats come first

The Adventurer. Jump through hoops, climbs trees and balances on fences!! Loves cuddles and strokes
Fluffy gets first prize for being the perfect model by sitting still enough long enough for the shot

Tizzie (owns Jeannie)
The bank cat. Good with money. Buys himself treats
Tizzie is just one cool dude. Simple as that
THIRD PRIZE : VENUS
Venus (owns Jonathan and Diana)
10 yr old Venus likes singing ar 5am and emjoys eating, sleeping and having fun with local dogs at a safe distance. Dhe has had a heart murmur since birth

CHARLIE AND LOLA (owns Ella -10yrs)
Brother and sister, Charlie (grey) purrs and sleeps a lot and springs to life at meal times. Lola (white/grey) loves exploring and just has catnaps. Enjoys playing in boxes and bags and meeting Ella from school
FREDDY (owns Jean)
Freddy started his life as Jean’s next door neighbour, was bullied by three cats in the household so moved into Jean for a quiet life. He eventually became the boss and get priority when it come to seating so the family fit and curl themselves around him on beds and the sofa
JUDAS (owns Chrissie and Olly)
Has a meow like an evil howl and big sharp claws. Judas is a cat with real character. He adores ice cream
YUM YUM (owned Wendy)
Was naughty, chatty and in the habit of opening the fridge to help himself to treats.
