The family friendly festival on the Green is back! As well as community group stands and a wide array of stalls selling jewellery, accessories, beauty & craft products and food there’s plenty to entertain the kids from facepainting to music sessions and a bouncy castle.
But it’s the bands that pull in the big crowds. with ten in all on stage from noon to 8pm kicking off with indie rock 5 piece Vinyl Plan and winding up with The Turner Brothers headlining at 7.15pm. The 9 piece British band fronted by brothers Anthony and Patrick Turner, celebrated for their energy, feel good music which is a mix of Ska, Indie, Folk, Alternative and Rap.
