Basing House in Ricky is opening its doors on 11/12 Sep (10am – 4pm) as part of the Heritage Open Days scheme.
Visitors will be able to visit the Three Rivers museum (near Watersmeet) within the house and there will be tours around the rooms which are not usually open to the public.
The National Heritage Open Days festival celebrates history, architecture and culture with building of interest, usually out of bounds to the public, being open over the weekend of 11 – 13 September. All sorts of buildings are involved int he scheme from churches to breweries and houses.
