Justin O’Shea and Simon Holland have been close friends for nearly 30 years and when Simon was diagnosed with a brain tumour, Justin’s priority was helping his mate through the trauma by supporting him in any way he could. Last September he took over the cars sales and showroom at Rickwood Cars on Heronsgate Road but wanted to do more.
“Before I knew it Leah who works in accounts contacted Brain Tumour Research and I am now running the London Marathon in April !”
Justin is also encouraging friends and customers to take part in Wear a Hat day on 27 March when people where any headgear from beanies, boaters, top hats and trilbies to fascinators and fedoras, and make donations to Brain Tumour Research
Chorleywood residents can also take part by buying a plastic hat to fit on their car grilles from Rickwood Cars
“I am throwing everything I can into fundraising. Simon and his family are very well known and I hope that Chorleywood will support them.”
