Guest Speaker: Mahdi Hasan, Chair, West Herts Hospitals Trust. Mahdi, before he retired, worked as a mechanical engineer in the oil and gas industry. After retirement, he has continued as an independent consultant within that industry and was appointed a non-executive director of the Trust in July 2006. He lives in St Albans and has been a volunteer driver for the Trust since April 2004.
