Chorleywood Pop up Poppy Shop opens its doors at The Peppermill on Monday 7 November
The exhibition includes specially commissioned poppy themed paintings and more by Chorleywood artists Barbara Sedassy, Kathy Foster, Barbara Green, Barbara Robjant, Mark Taylor, Barnaby Jackson and young Saffron Saigal in a vibrant poppy setting created by children of Chorleywood schools – Christ Church, Chorleywood Primary, Russell and Charlotte House.
In addition to 15 original paintings there will be RBL merchandise, art cards and prints on sale plus poppies galore – knitted, felt, wire, fabric, glass and ceramic made by Chorleywood WI, Chorleywood Arts Centre and individuals
The result we believe is Chorleywood’s most widespread community charity project to date.
Please come and support the Royal British Legion and your local creatives of all ages who have put in so much work for such a great cause in this month of Remembrance. Paintings will remain on display until Sunday 13 November while cards will be sold in Chorleywood shops over a few weeks.
