After Stephen Westaby’s talk at Christ Church organised by Chorleywood Bookshop Albert and his parents with former family GP Dr Eleanor Clarke were happy to meet the surgeon who saved Albert’s life in 1992 repairing a hole in the four year old’s heart by open heart surgery .

Albert had his book signed with a special patient’s heart symbol complete with the message, “So pleased to see you!”
