Mary Golden, 80, passed away peacefully in Watford General Hospital on Saturday 25 July.
Mary always told people she lived in “The Smallest House in Herts”
“It was at least, the smallest house in Chorleywood and she loved it!” says niece Liz Browne. “Mary was well known and much loved, particularly in the Chorleywood area and was a loving Aunt to her 10 nephews and nieces. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. She lived a happy and fulfilled life with her horse Goldie and her many dogs which she trained and handled herself, both in the RAF and with the Protestor Removal Team at Greenham Common for the MOD.
A funeral service will be held at 2.30pm on Wednesday 19 August at Chiltern Crematorium.
“The funeral cortège will leave Mary’s home and drive by her beloved Chorleywood Common at approximately 1.30pm for those wishing to pay their respects and say goodbye.” adds LIz,
“Flowers can be sent to the Co-op Funeral Home, New Road, Croxley Green, WD3 3ER or donations to RSPCA, The Dogs Trust or any animal charity you see fit. Mary would have liked that.”
