Local charity Peace Hospice Care, Watford, have benefitted from an extra £110,000 over the last 15 years thanks to the Chorleywood and Rickmansworth Support Group’s fundraisers

“ We host everything from coffee morning to Balls” says group leader Chrissie Van Dyk. “ the last ball total was over £18,000. Our next event is a retro Beatles dinner with local band The Old Kings. It’s going to be a fab night of nostalgia! Peace Hospice Care’s work goes way beyond inpatients – they offer a Hospice at Home service, home nursing and bereavement support helping 1500 local people a year and need £4 million pa to keep running. Sadly we are all likely to know somebody needing their help. We are so lucky to have a dedicated team of volunteers in our group and very proud of the amount we have raised. We want to thank our volunteers for their hard work and the community for their support but we need to keep going and raise more! So keep coming along, enjoy yourselves and buy a raffle ticket or two! ”
